Bright violet. Vibrant, mineral-laced red and dark berry aromas show impressive clarity and pick up a spicy accent with aeration. Juicy, focused and well- structured, offering intense black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors and a touch of bitter chocolate. Combines power and finesse with a deft hand and finishes long and chewy, with dusty tannins coming in late.

The 2015 Morgon Grand Cras has a very floral, harmonious bouquet with violet petals tincturing the ebullient red and black fruit. The palate is very well balanced with succulent ripe black cherries and blackcurrant notes, behind which lies quite a firm structure that should ensure that it ages well. I would have liked a little more length on the aftertaste, but otherwise, this is another great 2015 from Mee Godard.
