From a seven-acre vineyard, this wine is rich, balanced and fruity. It has an elegance and freshness reflecting the vintage. The wine, from 40-year-old vines, is packed with black fruits and ripe tannins. Drink from 2026.

Displaying a deep purple-black color, the 2020 Lécuyer is boldly scented of baked black plums, blueberry compote and chocolate-covered cherries with hints of raisin cake, Chinese five spice and eucalyptus. The medium to full-bodied palate delivers impactful black and blue fruit layers with lots of minerally sparks and a fine-grained texture, finishing long and earthy.

From an estate purchased by Ronan Laborde of Château Clinet, the 2021 Château Lecuyer is 90% Merlot and 5% each of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. It has a lively, elegant, medium-bodied style to go with rock-solid complexity in its ripe black cherries, spring flowers, chocolate, and leafy tobacco notes. It's balanced, has ripe tannins, and a good finish.

Delivers a light bramble edge that runs through red currant and black cherry compote flavors, while the back end turns to warm earth, game and tobacco notes that leave a slightly rustic impression. For fans of the style. Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2025 through 2035. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 1,200 cases made, 700 cases imported.
