The top of the range for whites, the 2019 Valtuille Godello (they own the brand Valtuille) comes from a single plot in the in the paraje El Val (it will carry the name of the paraje and will be a Vino de Paraje official category from 2021 onward), a west-facing slope in the village. It fermented in 500- and 700-liter oak vats, where the wine matured for one year with the lees that were not stirred. It has a very expressive nose with notes of fennel and flowers; it's aromatic, expressive and harmonious. It's tasty and finishes dry and clean. 1,100 bottles produced. It was bottled in November 2020.

Limpid yellow-gold. Aromas of ripe pear, honeydew melon, orange and vanilla are energized by a smoky mineral topnote. Sappy and pliant on the palate, offering bitter lemon pith, pear skin, fennel and honeysuckle flavors that deepen through the back half. Shows very good depth and energy and finishes taut and long, with repeating mineral and floral qualities.
