The 2021 Pinot Grigio Unterebner is delicate in the glass with a sweetly floral blend of citrus-tinged apple and gingery spice. It's soft and enveloping, with a lovely inner sweetness contrasting a salty core of minerality, as ripe orchard fruits cascade throughout. The 2021 loses my interest through the finale, finishing a bit short, leaving only the slightest tug of bitter lime.
