The 2020 Barbera D'Alba Superiore is ripe with plush fruit and fresh with blackberry, cracked pepper, macerated flowers, and inky richness. On the palate, this full-bodied red is ample with mouth-filling plums, chocolaty richness, and turned soil, as well as a velvety texture and suppleness throughout and modest acidity. Drink 2023-2027.
